Opinions from Others

The following reviews were found on Google. However, they do not reflect our own opinion.

"Staff were friendly and nice. Beautiful gardens and promenades. Nice displays of flowers. Amazing birds and animal varieties. The full leaning seats were so ergonomic and comfortable! The view from the hill is fantastic and you’re able to see in all directions for miles. Tranquil areas that were peaceful as well as like paintings with the fall colours. Disappointed that the polar bears were not out and wonder if there are any. The water for the bears wasn’t clear or clean. Lots of trash in it lead us to believe there may not be any bear or bears. One of the nicest and best zoos I have been to. Thank you from Calgary, Alberta, Canada"

"It is great zoo in center of the city. Lot of interesting animals. As we were here during winter season, some were inside or could not be viewed at all. Took us around 2.5 h in slow pace to look at everything. Ticket cost 16 euro."

"Located right in front of the main train station, this is a relatively small zoo that packs a big punch. Sure, there aren't lions or tigers, but the polar bears, elephants, hippos, chimps and many other charismatic animals make up for it tenfold. And while some of the exhibits could be on the older side, there are brilliant modern facilities, like the wonderful tropical house, that make a big difference!"

"One of the most equiped zoo’s in Europe. The zoo really respects the animal’s existence and you might feel that they tried to keep their effect minimum upon the lives of animals. The negative thing about zoo is they never use English or any other language that German; do everyone has to speak their language? Don’t they respect foreigners?"

"Nice and diverse zoo, located directly across the Karlsruhe main train station. The "exotic house" is probably the hightlight."
