"Wandered into Karlsruhe after a long flight to Frankfurt. This cafe was the perfect pick me up! Beautiful lattes, lovely food (had the shakshuka and the egg drop hot dog, both seasonal specials) and kind attentive service. The whole cafe is decorated so magically. If I lived here I would visit all the time! Parking on street (paid) and the orangerie park is across the road for a nice ramble post meal."

Our server Jasmine was super friendly and patient with us since we only spoke English. She even helped our friend get a splinter out of her hand. Definitely coming back next time we are in karlsruhe!!!"

"People are super unfriendly and service is super slow. My friends made a reservation but they were so friendly and lovely they didn’t even care and said you can sit wherever you find place, so already started well. Especially if you go after 15.00 almost nothing to eat, because kitchen is closed. (They cannot even serve a cold granola, apparently you need a kitchen to serve a granola which is already prepared.) There is only these usual full of sugar cakes are available, if you want to eat something salty no way… Anyways we were able to order 3 different type of cake after 1 hour and asking for the waiter 3-5 times. It took another 45-50 mins till they bring what we ordered. Please take into consideration that everything was already cooked or baked because again kitchen is closed after 15.00. And we had to choose what is available in the fridge. Cutting the cake and making coffee probably takes 1 hour, so he first came and said we don’t have anymore this type of cake. (When we ordered all the cakes were a full big cake, probably in 1 hour they were finished). We chose for another one. And then finally he brought the 2 different types of cakes after another 15 mins waiting and funny enough this time he said the other type of cake was also finished. He is not clever enough to check all types of cakes in one go and he comes one by one to say this time this cake is finished and next time the other one… And he was not even sorry or anything. Horrible service and friendliness I wouldn’t suggest to anyone to go there especially if you’re hungry and looking for something salty and some respect. Don’t loose your time and patience going there, there much better cafes in Karlsruhe."
