Mann Mobilia - Breakfast at the furniture store
The XXXLutz Mann Mobilia is located in the far east of the city near the highway and the furniture store is not necessarily the first place you think of when you think of breakfast. But it shouldn't be the last place either, because the furniture store has a lot to offer when it comes to breakfast.
The furniture store has a lot to offer, plenty of parking spaces in front of the building, the streetcar stop is not too far away. And the most important thing is probably the furniture store itself. Because before or after breakfast you can stroll through the huge store and see if you can't buy a new table for breakfast.
In the restaurant, the furniture store offers plenty of space and service at the table. This is not what you can expect in every department store.
BREAKFAST AT MANN MOBILIA
When it comes to breakfast times, you are bound by the opening hours of Mann Mobilia. The restaurant opens daily - except on Sundays and public holidays - at 10:00 a.m. and therefore offers nothing for early risers.
The offer is decent and not limited to breakfast. You often see guests ordering steak rather than cake.
For breakfast, there are various coffee specialties that offer nothing special but also leave nothing to be desired, various breakfast menus for every appetite and, of course, various cakes. You can't say anything about the taste, there is of course potential, but this would certainly be reflected in the pricing. You get the whole thing for a very reasonable price, and you can't complain about that. That was very surprising. The staff are also very friendly and professional and don't give the impression of student assistants ;)

"Rumpsteak für unter 10€ war wirklich gut und ging schnell. Perfekt für die Mittagspause geeignet, Preis- Leistung passt absolut. Das Konzept wirkt gut durchdacht und alle sind sehr freundlich. Das Besuch ist um die Mittagszeit sehr gut gesucht aber man findet trotzdem gut einen Platz."

"Positiv: Schöne Aussicht, wenn man einen Tisch am Fenster ergattert. Negativ: Ich bestellte eine Süßkartoffel-Gemüse-Curry-Bowl auf Wildreismischung für 11,50 EUR, mit Hähnchen-Medaillons 14,90 EUR. Erwartet hatte ich eine schmackhafte, sättigende Mahlzeit – bekommen habe ich: - Einen kleinen tiefen Teller mit einer winzigen Portion Reis. - Keine Spur von Süßkartoffeln. - Kein Curry-Geschmack. - Zwei kleine Stückchen Hähnchen, vermutlich die teuersten meines Lebens. - Nach drei Minuten war ich fertig mit Essen – weil einfach nichts da war. Auf meine Nachfrage, ob versehentlich eine Rentnerportion geliefert wurde, erhielt ich von der Servicekraft eine erstaunlich offene Antwort: - Das Essen sei aus der Tüte. - Die Portionen seien generell so klein. - Die Süßkartoffeln seien in der Soße verarbeitet. - Keine Lösung oder Wiedergutmachung seitens des Restaurants. Fertigessen für 14,90 EUR? Eine absolute Enttäuschung. Nie wieder."

"Nachdem man nach einiger Zeit des Wartens am Eingang einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommt, wird der Gast recht zügig bedient. Wenn man viel Glück hat, bekommt man einen Platz in der Nähe der Fensterfront und hat einen Blick auf Karlsruhe. Abwechslung bringt der Roboter mit, der das Essen an einige der Tische bringt. Bei den Speisen ist noch Luft nach oben (z.B. die Pommes meistens sehr hell). Die sanitären Einrichtungen machen einen sauberen Eindruck. Der Ausgang ist nicht gut beschildert, sodass viele Gäste das Restaurant durch den abgesperrten Eingang verlassen."

"Wir wurden von einer Frau empfangen mit blonden Haaren und einer Brille. Sie war so freundlich dass es uns überrascht hat dass es noch Menschen gibt, die nett sind. Sie war sehr zuvorkommend und hat auf Wunsch unsererseits noch schnell und unkompliziert das Essen getauscht. Wow !! Wir sind sehr froh, dass sie uns bedient hat.
