Breakfast at Judy's Pflug in Karlsruhe Durlach

If you want to have breakfast in Karlsruhe Durlach, you should know Judy's Pflug. Located in Ochsentorstraße, the restaurant is easy to reach thanks to its proximity to Schlossplatz. It really is only a short walk away. If you don't want to take the train, there is a parking lot around the corner.

Judy's Pflug looks quite inconspicuous from the outside, but it's worth taking a closer look. Once inside, you quickly notice that it is very large and divides the space into three large zones. There are two larger rooms and a bar area in between, with a few tables in front. The decor is interesting and good, with attractive pictures hanging on the walls.

There is also a beer garden at the back, which is also used as a smoking area.

The menu is very extensive at all times of the day. A distinction is made between the normal menu, the lunch menu and, of course, the breakfast menu. There are also special offers, which are displayed on blackboards, and once a month there is a buffet.

During the week you can have breakfast here from 09:00, on Sundays or public holidays it starts at 10:00. Judy's Pflug has so much to offer for breakfast that a single visit is not enough to get an idea of what's on offer.

In addition to various teas and coffees, there are yogurt and milk drinks, as well as various juices and smoothies. So you should be able to find something. The food is similarly extensive. There are over 10 breakfast combinations, ranging from a simple French breakfast to a wellness breakfast. If that's not enough, or if you prefer to put together your own breakfast, you can still choose from the full range. There is fruit salad, muesli and porridge. Various dairy rice dishes are also available. Those who prefer eggs can order boiled eggs, fried eggs or even an omelette. If you think that's all there is to it, you've done the math without Judy's Pflug, because they've simply added a few more pancakes to the menu. If you still haven't had enough, you can try ordering the waffles from the main menu.

Despite the large area, the operators seem to have everything under control. It always goes quite quickly. On Sundays, when everyone is streaming into the restaurant at the same time, it can certainly take a few minutes longer. They are always friendly.
